World Trade Centre Residence

I am a long time resident of the building and growing frustrated with the lack of progress in the building. Even though the lobby, restaurant and pool are going through an uplift, much needed renovation. The issue of the staff and culture of the building is still ever present. The lobby staff are usually the grumpiest, even to resident who pay their salaries via maintenance fees. The state of the gym is in shambles, really outdated and cheap equipment. Most Jumeriah establishments have Technogym equipment, this building seems to just take the cheapest brand. There is always so much staff at the gym and yet it is always dirty with equipment all over the place. I am not sure what the point of the staff is? They play loud terrible music, everyone has their own music - just let it be quiet! Then the way the building operated, just recently they have decided to add water meters to units, something they could have done in the summer when occupancy is much lower, instead they have disrupted our lives with 4 days warning. So much work to be done in this building, or else it will at some point become redundant and loose homeowners real estate value. Management only seem to care about hotel guests, which will likely lower or change to budget travelers given the state of the building and lack of progress. TLDR- this building is nowhere near the quality and high standard of Jumeriah group. Management should either invest in better staff and updating the gym or just rebrand this to a cheaper brand of Jumeriah, budget Jumeriah . Ps - photos demonstrate state of the gym and how poorly they place equipment.

Our stay was made extra special with the service given by the teams. For the food a big Thankyou to Matthew, Anoma and team for looking after our families every need. The WhatsApp room service was very quick and efficient and responded fast to all messages. Rooms were cleaned well and presented beautifully. The hotel was undergoing works so lifts were a little slow but they fully made up for it with smiles and welcomes and great service every time.

We stayed in the 3 bedrooms apartment. The place was spacious, simple and neat. Perfect location to the world trade centre exhibition . However the hygiene and cleanness was disappointing. Our bed was full of bed bugs and after 2 nights we checked out with so many bed bug bites all over our bodies. The water supply in the bathroom had a strong chlorine smell which was not pleasant.

5 stars well worthed and I would give them one more for the excellent service. Great location and really good facilities including pool and well equiped jim. Take the half board since it is worth it. The staff is very king and every request is anwered. We were a familly of 5. 10 16 18 years old children and we had the 3 bedroom app.
